We run our club gradings quarterly across all our age groups.  At Craven Judo Academy it is important that our players see their gradings as an opportunity to track their progress in terms of their skill acquisition and underlying theory of the sport of judo.

We do not use gradings as a 'test' and at times we may fast track some members in order for them to be eligible to fight in events that have a minimum grade requirement.  Our spirraled learning approach to our class curriculum means we do not always teach directly to our grading syllabus but we do give players a chance to work on their grading techniques on the run up to their grading.
